Good Faith Letter

$6.00

A good faith letter can be used to ask a collection agency/creditor to remove negative information off of your credit report. This letter somewhat asks the creditor to remove the negative item because at that time in your life you were irresponsible and now you have a record of paying on time. That is probably the easiest way to sum up this letter. This letter will not work for everyone, if you are behind on your bills a good faith letter would not be useful to you.

Description

A good faith letter can be used to ask a collection agency/creditor to remove negative information off of your credit report. This letter asks the creditor to remove the negative item because at that time in your life you were irresponsible or did not keep good records but now you have a record of paying on time and you have already paid this debt. This letter will not work for everyone, if you are behind on your bills a good faith letter would not be useful to you. According the the FCRA, creditors do not have to report information but they must report information that is accurate, IF they choose to report the info. This letter also speaks to the FCRA regulations. THIS Good Faith letter is good if you have already PAID the debt in question.

This letter is recommended to individuals who have already paid a debt and wish to have it removed. If you have not already paid the debt in question, we have a number of other letters and steps for you to take.

The letter you will be downloading is the “Good Faith Letter”. I advise changing the information in the letter to reflect your actual scenario.
